Our Team

Jeff Roser (Chairperson)

Jeff was a founding member of WIP in 2010 and has been working in the insurance sector specialising in income protection claims management since 2000. Prior to this Jeff was a 20 year Union Official, a Trustee on two Industry Superannuation Funds, Deputy Chairperson for National Chemical Council (Fed Gov’t), and Deputy Chairperson on three National Training Development Schemes (Fed Gov’t).

Jason Potter-Rose (Group CEO)

Jason has the responsibility for the end-to-end business model, providing strategic insight and leadership into the continued growth of our partners. Jason has over 25 years of insurance industry experience, most of which as a market leader of Sales and Marketing.

Scott Richardson (Chief Commercial Officer & Company Secretary)

Scott joined WIP 12 months ago, bringing a wealth of Commercial Management and Corporate Governance experience from organisations such as Ausgrid, Boral and Sydney Water. Scott also serves as Company Secretary and has an MBA Degree (Sydney University).

Jae Mauala (Head of Claims)

Jae has been in the insurance industry for 15 years. Her responsibilities include high level assessment of liability, review of the ongoing strategy of a claim, review of high level escalations / disputes and the management including training and development of the claims team.

Vanessa Hodge (Head of Operations)

Vanessa has extensive experience in administration and process improvement. She has been part of WIP since 2016 and oversees the Operations and Placement Services team.

Damien Davie (Head of Growth)

Damien spearheads innovative strategies to expand market reach and enhance partnership engagement. With a robust background in business development Damien leverages his expertise to strengthen WIP’s market position and fuel its expansion into new and emerging markets.

Michael Tran (Head of Marketing & Distribution)

Michael plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic marketing and distribution direction. He excels in leveraging data-driven marketing techniques and enhancing digital outreach to boost customer acquisition and retention.

The Insurance Council of Australia Limited has developed the General Insurance Code of Practice (“the Code”), which is a voluntary self-regulatory code. The Code aims to raise the standards of practice and service in the insurance industry.
