As a founding partner and Group CEO, Jason leads the WIP Group with a strategic vision that has delivered unprecedented year-on-year growth. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jason is instrumental in cultivating WIP Group’s strong relationships with international insurance markets and key partners. His leadership underpins a comprehensive, end-to-end business model that positions WIP Group as both a trusted partner and an innovator in Group Accident & Health insurance, claims management, and insurance marketing solutions.

Scott Richardson (Chief Commercial & Operations Officer & Company Secretary)

Scott joined WIP Group in 2023, bringing a wealth of expertise in Commercial Management and Corporate Governance from his tenure at notable organisations, including Ausgrid, Boral, and Sydney Water. As Chief Commercial Officer and Company Secretary, Scott is pivotal in upholding WIP Group’s commitment to strong corporate governance and strategic financial management. His leadership contributes to WIP Group’s growth and future-focused approach, which emphasizes continuous improvement and sustainable market expansion.

Damien Davie (Head of Growth)

Damien drives WIP Group’s growth initiatives with innovative strategies aimed at expanding market reach and deepening partnerships. He has established dedicated growth teams across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales, fuelling WIP Group’s expansion into new and emerging markets. With a strong background in business development, Damien plays a pivotal role in advancing WIP Group’s market position, supporting sustainable growth and delivering impactful growth solutions to WIP Group’s partners.

Jakson Potter-Rose (Broking Services Manager)

Jakson brings several years of experience in the financial services industry and is committed to delivering efficient, tailored solutions that ensure clients receive exceptional service throughout the placement process. He manages placements of varying complexity and oversees relationships with our London broker and the coverholder process, maintaining compliance and smooth operations. Jakson’s strong knowledge of insurance products and market dynamics enables him to achieve optimal outcomes while fostering trusted partnerships across the industry.

Michael Tran (Head of Marketing & Distribution)

Michael drives WIP Group’s strategic vision for marketing, distribution, and branding, utilizing data-driven strategies that boost customer acquisition and retention. The Insurance Council of Australia Limited has developed the General Insurance Code of Practice (“the Code”), which is a voluntary self-regulatory code. The Code aims to raise the standards of practice and service in the insurance industry.
